Fall is here and the irrigation districts in the Treasure Valley have announced the turn-off dates for their systems.  Irrigation to lands supplied by the Arrowrock Division of the Boise Project Board of Control and Lake Lowell Reservoir are scheduled to cease on Friday, October 7, 2016.  The New York Canal may continue to move water to Lake Lowell.

It may take a couple of days for the waters to drain.  Homeowners can plan to do their last irrigating before the shut off dates and then plan to winterize their systems.
