Arizona Governor Issues Proclamation Recognizing AACM Organization

Arizona Governor, Doug Ducey recently issued a state proclamation, recognizing the Association of Community Managers, an organization of which Sentry Management is a founding member.

The AACM is a professional organization that is dedicated to promoting a positive understanding of community associations and the contribution of professional management services in the development, establishment, and maintenance of high-quality, well-managed neighborhoods.

The AACM’s mission statement reads: The Arizona Association of Community Managers promotes a positive perception of professional community association management firms and raises the standard of care in Arizona’s managed communities. It does this through its professional certification of community managers (CAAM), proactive outreach to Arizona homeowners and by being the “voice of reason” to the state’s legislature.

“Sentry Management is so proud to be part of a valuable organization. Sentry is one of the founding members of this great organization and we are so honored to have the full support of Governor Ducey,” Barbara Dummitt, CAAM® Vice President, Phoenix Division said.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has issued a Proclamation recognizing the role community managers play in the professional management of Arizona’s managed communities and AACM’s CAAM Education Program.

In 2005, Legislators recognized AACM as a “voice of reason and resource”, and continue to work each year to provide one voice in support of the community management industry, property rights, and the right to contract.

“Combine AACM’s Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAM) Education Program with professional community management services, and proactive legislative and industry support, and it’s a win-win for Arizona’s managed communities,” Barbara explains.

Sentry Management is a full-service community management company. Sentry’s business is the day-to-day operation of communities, homeowner associations, and condominiums. Sentry is accredited as an AMO® (Accredited Management Organization) by the Institute of Real Estate Management, providing an independent evaluation that Sentry has one of the highest operating and financial standards in the industry.
