Sentry Management, Inc., a leader in homeowner association and condominium management, is pleased to announce the addition of the newest office located in Bluffton, SC. Earlier this month, Sentry purchased Coastal Community Association Management (CCAM).

“Sentry Management has long had offices in Savannah and Charleston and already manage many properties in the Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head area” notes Brad Pomp, President of Sentry in announcing the purchase. “The acquisition of Costal Community Association Management is a wonderful complement because it gives us a greater presence in the area and allows us to better serve communities directly.”

The Bluffton office (bluffton.sentrymgt.com) will be a part of Sentry’s Atlantic Region and report to Collin Bruner, Senior Vice President. “Coastal has been long known for providing a high level of service to homeowner and condominium associations,” said Bruner. “With the addition of Sentry’s advanced technology and robust systems, professionalism and association support should be even better. Sentry is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO®) and one of only a handful of homeowner and condominium association management firms with that prestigious designation. AMO® status causes our accounting systems to be unusually rigorous and financial disclosure to be world–class.”

The service area for this Sentry office is primarily in Beaufort County, South Carolina as well as adjoining portions of Jasper and Colleton Counties.

Offices will remain at 169 Bluffton Road, Bluffton, SC 29910 and current staff will continue to serve their associations. Several Sentry communities previously managed out of Savannah and Charleston will soon be managed out of the Bluffton office so all area associations will be managed locally under one roof. The Sentry Bluffton Division office phone number remains 843-706-7268. To learn more about Sentry, go to www.sentrymgt.com.

Documents, Statutes, and Laws: Which One Takes Priority?

Power to govern an Association is based on the authority granted by multiple sources. To make it a little confusing, just like the power the Federal Government has to override aspects of State laws, there is a hierarchy in the application of laws and documents to Associations.
