The Sentry Bluffton, SC office recently held a Secure the Call Cell Phone Collection, collecting cell phones and chargers for the Bluffton Police Department’s advocacy for domestic and elderly violence.
The collection began in January and the staff collected 12 cell phones and 2 phone chargers. The staff, including Bluffton Division Manager, Steven Anderson, and Community Manager, Joy Preveaux then visited the Bluffton Police Dept. to deliver the donated items.
The Secure the Call Cell Phone program takes unwanted or broken cell phones that would otherwise end up in a landfill, make them usable and redistribute to people that do not have access to cell phones, and no convenient way to dial 911.
