2018 Irrigation Season Begins April 18

Boise, Idaho Irrigation Season 2018

The Treasure Valley Irrigation company in Boise, ID has announced the planned start dates for the year.  Most have already begun releasing water into their systems earlier this month.  However, it will take up to two weeks to fill all of the canals and ditches. Irrigation company personnel will begin to start up pumps and test systems as soon as possible.  The Nampa Meridian Irrigation District alone controls more than 500 miles of canals and ditches in the Valley.

Homeowner associations or condo associations that have their own pumping systems will start operations and testing systems as soon as the water is delivered. Residents and homeowners can expect to have pressurized irrigation water available around April 18, 2018.  Depending on the weather, certain HOA’s that pump from their own wells may start earlier.

Homeowners in subdivisions managed by Sentry Management can hear recorded information about irrigation in their neighborhoods by calling our office at 208.323.1080.  Press 2 to hear the recording.  If you have a water emergency after office hours or on the weekend, you can reach on-call staff at 208.871.4343.
