Charleston Community Manager Selected for Sentry Leadership Program

Sentry Management Leadership Program

Local Community Association Manager at the Charleston, SC office, Amanda Barnes was recently selected to join the Sentry Management Leadership Development Program based off of her successful track record working with local community associations.

The Leadership Development Program is a 1 year-long series of meetings, continuing education courses, and activities designed to enhance the participants’ effectiveness as a leader, strengthen their ability to contribute to organizational priorities, and prepare them for tomorrow’s leadership within Sentry.

“Amanda was nominated due to her ongoing commitment to the Sentry Foundation Principles and for the fact that the staff in the Charleston office gravitate toward her for assistance due to her ability to proactively lead her communities,” Yohanna LaRoche, Sentry Vice President, Charleston, SC Division said.

Amanda moved to the Charleston area in 2006 and began working as a community manager at a large-scale master community in the area. In 2013 she started working for Sentry as a community manager for several different communities around the Charleston area including single family homes, condos and dockominiums.

The Sentry Foundation Principles include the core value of the company, which is “We embrace the honor to serve our communities, and the service standard that Sentry exemplifies of “In every interaction: kindness, professionalism and timely resolution”.

I feel that it is a great opportunity to continue my growth and development within Sentry all while being able to provide input to Sentry’s vision and direction as a leader in the Community Management Industry,” explains Amanda Barnes, Charleston SC Community Manager.
