Sentry Albuquerque Hosts Well-Attended HOA Board Member Seminar

Albuquerque HOA Board Seminar

The Sentry Management Albuquerque office recently hosted a well-attended Board Seminar for local condominium and homeowner association board members. The event had a great turnout with over seventy-five in attendance.

The seminar discussion topics included insurance carrier concerns regarding Airbnb, VRBO and community liability, HOA Disclosure Act Amendments that are currently before New Mexico Legislature, and board members fiduciary duties to their communities.

Bradley Pomp, the President of Sentry Management was in attendance at the seminar and discussed the companies’ philosophy of serving customers with kindness, professionalism and timely resolution at all times.

John Patterson, a well-known Santa Fe attorney who wrote the New Mexico HOA Disclosure Act, was another guest speaker at the event. John discussed the recent developments in homeowners association disclosure legislation.

“This was a very informative and dynamic seminar that saw a huge turnout of Board members from local communities. Updated legal information from John Patterson as well as reiterating HOA insurance standards from Demetrios Xanthos of SAX Agency was extremely well received by the audience,” Carol Rickert, Vice President, Albuquerque NM Division said.

The seminar also included a demonstration of how to login to the Sentry Management CommunityPro® PORTAL for individual communities.  The Sentry CommunityPro® PORTAL is a tool that gives board members access to important information about individual accounts, homeowner’s association, and a way for communities to stay connected.
